The scenic drive to the location adds to the charm. The staff were friendly and accommodating, which made a difference during our stay. While the full Scottish breakfast offered some choice, it felt lacking in variety, and the room cleanliness left something to be desired, as it wasn't vacuumed during our four-night stay. this place has potential, but some services and attentiveness need improvement.

I stayed in a Superior Double Room for one night. The location is stunning, just a stone's throw from beautiful walking trails and scenic views. Staff members were incredibly friendly and attentive, making me feel very welcome. I had an excellent evening meal that showcased local cuisine, and the breakfast offered a good range of options. the room faced the main road, and the noise from the traffic disrupted my sleep when I needed fresh air from the open window. The bed comfort could be better. it felt a bit old and resulted in an uncomfortable night. Despite these issues, the charm and hospitality of this family-run hotel make it likely that I'd return in the future.
